About the Artist

Cindi Williams is an American Impressionist based in the South whose work is driven by a fascination with light and shadow. Through still life and figurative painting, she transforms everyday objects and quiet moments into evocative scenes, revealing how light can elevate the ordinary into something memorable and beautiful.

Born and raised in Florida, Cindi spent her childhood immersed in the marshes, beaches, and farmland of her home state. Those early experiences fostered a deep sensitivity to atmosphere, color, and the subtle emotional pull of place—elements that continue to shape her work today. Although she initially pursued a career in business, her love of painting never faded. She ultimately returned to her first passion with renewed energy and now paints with dedication and joy.

Working primarily in an impressionistic style, Cindi seeks to evoke emotion and stir memory in the viewer. Her paintings invite quiet reflection, capturing fleeting moments where light, form, and feeling converge.

Cindi has received recognition in juried exhibitions and shows her work in various locations in Atlanta. She has mentored with James Richards and Laura Lanford. She continues to live and work in the South, finding inspiration in the beauty of everyday life and the transformative power of light.
